At the June 12th Members Meeting, we will have a Steak dinner, On the Dinner Committee will be: Larry McKinney, Dan Beiswenger, Wayne McMaster, Brad Hager, Dan Young, Bob Durbin, Cari Durbin, and Roger Kruzicke.

 3-D Archery: Our weekly 15 target 3-D Archery will begin on June 6th, running on Thursdays from 2PM to dusk. The cost is $5 to members and $6 for non-members. We will hold one, 30 target shoot on September 15th, and that will wrap up the 3-D archery for the year. 

We will not be holding the Thursday 3-D Archery on July 4th in observance of the Independence day holiday. 

The July 10th Meeting Dinner committee consists of: Dave Jacobs, Jason Lang, Dan Hoag, Kieth Farrell, Don Ingram, Joe Dreisbach, Ray Alverson, Tom Hurlburt, and Ron Morsch. 

Memberships: The Annual dues remain at $35 If you have already sent in your membership, thank you, and please remember that your membership and the newsletter may cross in the mail. The 2013 Membership Buttons are in and are available at the Club. We cannot mail the buttons, so if you would like one, please get yours at the club. 

Skeet & Trap: We are shooting on Tuesday evenings, some Sunday mornings, and everyone is welcome. This is a lot of fun, whether you want to shoot in the league or just come up and practice. Please contact Mike Derrenbacher if you would like more details. 

Club Rentals: Jim Bennett will be taking care of the rentals and the calendar for this year. Both clubhouses are available for rent, and they are filling quickly, so if you have a date in mind for a party, please contact Jim ASAP. 

Pistol Classes: Rochester Personal Defense will be holding a couple of classes at the club. On June 30th there will be a Utah/Florida CCW Pistol Class, and on July 21st there will be a Ladies basic Pistol Class, taught by Wendy Seatta. To sign up for these classes please contact Dave Jenkins at 585-406-6758 or register online at www.safeinrochester.com.

 Hunter Training Courses: we will hold the Archery Hunter training on August 16th and 17th, and the Hunter training (gun) will be on August  23rd and 24th. More details will be available in the July Newsletter. 

Second Amendment to the Constitution: There is a Rally in Albany on June 11, 2013. SCOPE will be making arrangements for buses leaving the area if you would like to go along rather than driving. For a seat on the bus, please call 585-406-6758. For more info, see the SCOPE web-site at www.scopeny.org. 

June Gun Raffle: The tickets are out for the June 15th Gun raffle. If you didn’t get tickets and would like to sell some for the club, please contact Jim Bennett. Please remember to get them back as soon as you can. The gun raffles are a great deal of work if you can lend a hand the morning of the raffle or during the raffle. Please don’t hesitate to lend a hand, as we are hoping for yet another great turnout for the raffle!

House & Grounds : The mowing season has begun, and there is always something to be done. If you can lend a hand, please contact Larry Coburn

Skeet and Trap shooting: We are now shooting on Tuesday evenings, Skeet and trap. All newcomers are more than welcome to join the league or just to come up and see what trap or skeet shooting is all about!

Bar Parties: When booking the club for parties and functions, the bartending will now only be done by the bartenders appointed by the Directors of the club. No outside alcohol is permitted to be brought into the premises of the Dansville Fish and Game for any reason. Lauren will NOT be handling rentals this year, we will have someone to take care of this soon.

The Dansville Fish and Game was awarded the (NYSCC) New York State Conservation Council Presidents Award for 2010 Club of the year! This is a great honor for our club, as there are several hundred clubs in the State. A big Thank You to Bob Ciecierega for the nomination and hard work to get our club nominated for this prestigious award!

Clubhouse rentals: More info will be available soon

Door Locks: The locks on the main doors at the Upper and Lower Clubhouses have now been changed. We have had the same keys for many years, and previous to the lock change, we did not have any more keys to give out. We can exchange keys at the Monthly meetings, on the second Wednesday of every month. You can also contact Jim Bennett to exchange for a new key.

Our Membership is currently nearly 500 members, if you know if someone who has not renewed, or you may have a new neighbor, please extend the invitation to join the club.
